Engaging Tasmanians where it’s most important – at home

There’s much more to life than what goes on in our workplaces. We asked Tasmanians to share their big – and little – reasons for making it home safely from a day’s work – and they responded!

Using a combination of press, posters and bus advertising, we encouraged Tasmanians to upload photographs of their “important reasons” to a newly created website, in order to become a part of WorkSafe Tasmania’s television campaign. This has resulted in a steady flow of personal images and messages from Tasmanians who were more than happy to share their important reasons. Even at AgFest people were more than happy to participate, lining up to become a part of this engaging community push for awareness of work-related safety issues.
